Two fair girls came to visit us...and we were thrilled!

Six years ago we were blessed to have you, Anna, come and live with us for a semester.  You were a confident woman who was generous with your time, loved your high wedge shoes, and filled our ears with questions about life. You graduated from college and went to explore the world.  From FL to CA to OR and back to GA again. We have seen your tears, heard about your sorrows and adventures and have witness your joy and rest in the everyday. Thank you for bringing with you this time, your precious little one, Lucy Kate. She is a blessing and miracle! You, are a wonderful part of our story! Press on, seek His peace within and look up...

...And Anna & Lucy Kate, thank you for coming to see us!  Thank you for bringing your smiles and conversations. We want you to come back anytime. We want to come and visit you as well in GA, cross our fingers it will be soon. We think you both are the greatest and it is wonderful to hear of God's faithfulness in your lives and of His constant care of you two! The road has been rocky, but HE is writing a beautiful story for you both!

 Melissa and Adam, Thank you for coming to NC to visit!!!  We LOVED seeing, talking, laughing, snowball fighting with you both.

Melissa, the Lords work is amazing and I can't describe how excited and amazed I am at what He is doing in your life. He. Is. Faithful. and His. Love. Is. Deep.  Thank you for letting us be a part of it!

Friends

We've had a lot of friends over to play and visit these past few days and each of them are super special to us!

Melissa, We are SO glad you came.  You made our day, week, month!  Please don't stop coming to NC to visit.  :)  Miss you sweet friend, but thank you for spending the day with us just doing life!  It seem that you never moved to OK-we LOVED having you here! 

Oh and thank you for doing the dishes for me too.  :)  You're a favorite!

You girls look good playing Little House on the Prairie.  Mary (Katie), you are pretty in purple.  Baby Carrie, (Evy) your so beautiful with the necklaces and Laura (Catie Beth), your smile makes me smile!  And Owen, your superhero powers will definitely help Pa out with all the farm work.  :D

 And finally Bryce and Owen, you two are becoming great friends.  We loved having Bryce over to play while Katie was at school.  Come again soon friend!

A bit late, but NOT FORGOTTEN!

Momma Seago and kiddos came to visit!  What a treat!

They flew in to DC-for a conference and to see family-from Dallas, then decided to make the trip down to see us and a few others.  We were thrilled to see you guys-we played with Nahum, held Sophia and laughed with Brandy.

Thanks SOOOO much for driving down-and sitting in traffic on the way back up.

Brandy-thank you again for coming down.  I loved that we got to pit two massive bags of cherries together, eat cereal for dinner and just be together.

Oh Hey There Friend...

Katie and now Owen, from day one have LOVED attempting to play dominos with Melissa.

The Kids and I made the short trip up to Wake Forest to spend some time with Melissa!  We sure love this girl.  :)  Her apt is incredibly cool and her furnishings are awesome.  She's done a great job making it into her abode!  

We will miss her deeply as she is packing up and moving out to OK in a few weeks, but also feel so blessed to have walked and been friends with M for the past four years.  Wow, four years!  The Lord has done a lot and He is certainly up to great things now too.

HOT days=Pool playing

It has been HOT here. I mean what else can you do when the heat index reaches 115 or so? Our answer the POOL or thankfully inside with the air on. :) We have taken to going to the pool around 10 and home by an early lunch. I've slathered on lots of sunscreen and we've had a blast! Thankful for Millbrook pool and also for our friends over in Bedford. :) Bedford is a local fantastic neighborhood with an awesome pool. Thanks for letting us swim with you guys-Hannah, Rachel, JT and Melissa.

A Thursday Outing-Duke Gardens!

For the first time we went to explore Duke Gardens! We have been wanting to go and see for ourselves the beauty of this place and after 8 years we made it!

Thanks Melissa and Ms. Linda for inviting us to go on an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day and with such wonderful company.

We did some running and more running and more running.

Owen is now running all the time. And as you can see his feet scoot along. He's posing in the bottom photo with athletic style. :)
