Pumpkin Carving

Though, its been almost a week since we carved these...I didn't want to forget to document a day for you two, Katie and Owen-after all its been way to long.
It was a good day. It was beautiful, creative, filled with fall noises, the background noise of some tunes and your ideas.  And this was the first year that we didn't help you all at all.  Well done, kiddos!

The Nutcracker

It came and went (as in at Christmas time), but we had so much fun.  We pulled out our umbrellas and dressy clothes and went to the Ballet and dinner.  So sweet. So fun. So memorable.
Katie and O-thanks for taking us out to the performance and dinner!

Christmas 2015

Exactly one month ago we celebrated.  We celebrated the truth that Jesus came from the Father to be born of a baby for us, to take our place, to conquer sin, to give us hope!We celebrated being a family.  We celebrated being healthy. We celebrated being able to give good gifts.  We celebrated being together.  We celebrated with FaceTime. We celebrated with cinnamon rolls.  We celebrated with beautiful weather.  We. celebrated.
Kiddos, you had a wonderful Christmas full of many gifts, yummy food, stories, adventures, friends...
Katie, your favorite gift was your Caroline-American Girl doll, some clothes,
spy gear, earrings, drawing books and regular books...
Owen, your favorite gift was your bike, spy gear, books, clothes, BOO Lion, watch, Legos, journal...
Daddy, you and I received many homemade gifts-a wooden motorcycle,
a yarn scarf, pictures...
:D Kiddos, we are thankful to have been able to celebrate in so many ways!

Officially spying with official spy gear on Daddy the spy.

Merry Merry Christmas to all!

A Kindergarten Fall Party

Owen, your fall party was a blast!  You did everything from fun treats to crafts to bounce houses. Mrs. Streit & Mrs. Zellmen even won the dress up contest with "Teachers of the Year"!
And your Royals Hosmer jersey was perfect as they were getting ready to win the World Series in Baseball. You'll have such great memories of your Kindergarten year, we just know it!
