O-well, Daddy looks young, but Mommy you need to remake your face.

O-that didn't come out right..I mean you need to manicure your face (to make it look younger.)

Dear Daddy...we got you your wish

Love, we got you your wish-your very own wooden bat and a scavenger hunt to find it!

It was super fun for the kids and I to find something for you that has brought lots of memories back and joys to be had.

Stepping back on the diamond to coach Owen has been a treat for you! You obviously loved the sport at his age and still do. We hope you have many opportunities to swing a bat this year for fun!

Back to school, off of school, back to school!

hobbies for o

Owen,

You've found a passion, a gift, a time waster-in a good way-wood whittling! You can spend hours sitting and stripping bark/wood off a branch to get down to the "good wood" which can be any color you've learned. Our whole family has bundles of these gifts and we wouldn't have it any other way. A favorite companion is your little pocket knife which has only brought with it a few blisters and cuts. Someday, maybe, you'll enter one of your pieces into the fair-for that is your current dream.

a few times a month

I've stood at our computer, which resides in the kitchen, for three hours now. The kids officially took over the dinner making a few times a month. This is my view! I'm thankful for their cooking classes, their kind hearts and their teamwork tonight.

Thank you, kiddos! I have gotten a lot of planning done this afternoon. Can't wait to eat our stuffed peppers, cheesy bread and apple cake for dinner. Love you both!
