It's all about the puppet show, the puppet show...

There is almost nothing that competes with the joy of the NLC puppet show! We get a run down each day and every morning!

Charleston, SC--Jesup, GA--Amelia Island, FL--Savannah GA, April

South.  We headed south for a holiday, sweet kiddos! 

The truth is we headed south back in April, but posting pictures even in June is worth it to remember our travels! We had a great time touring all around.  Charleston is beautiful. The architecture, the landscapes, the history, the food, it's all good. We definitely want to go back.  We headed a bit further south to Jesup, GA and got to see ANNA and LUCY KATE!  Oh, how we love those two.  Anna, your home, business, little girl, family is just what the Lord ordered.  You've done a wonderful job at it-work hard and love well... And finally for the main stay of our trip we made our way to Amelia Island, FL.  What a treat.  Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. Jones for your beach house! Even though the week was overcast, rainy, WINDY, sunny for a few minutes at a time, and a bit cold, we tried to enjoy every minute we could when the sun was shinning or at least peaking through.  (And I've got to say, clouds and sun do make great photos, really, the heavens declare the beauty of the Lord-just look around!)  You, kids, didn't mind a bit about the weather.  I think the longest we stayed out was 45 minutes, but we tried to take it all in.  We found some fantastic shells since they had just druged the area so submarines could come through, we tried new recipes, we played legos and volleyball, went to a jumping park, got our nails done (Katie and Mommy did :) and watched a few good movies. Though our time at the beach was different then we expected we all enjoyed being together!  And finally, when we had packed up the car and headed back north we swung into Savannah.  We ate a delicious breakfast, toured quickly the area and were on our way back home. So much history in that city as well...wow, I love learning about new places.

Kiddos, thank you! Thank you for coming with us on our adventure!
