Wrapping Up Disney

We honestly could not have had a better time at Disney.  Our second day was just as fun as the first.  The Touring plan helped out immensely and the kids and we continued to love every minute! We took the ferry again arriving when the gates opened, skipped nap this day but went home earlier then the night before.
What a great trip...what a great trip!

This is one of my loves...these two in this photo!
I have to say I was excited to drive the cars.  And though it was a bit disappointing since you drove on a track, the kids still loved turing the wheel and racing each other.  Katie was cracking up when I would push the gas and then stomp on the breaks.  :) And Owen was all smiles the whole ride.

Going to the shows was something I thought would be ho hum.  But each one of them was entertaining  and a welcomed break sitting down.
Monsters Ink-where they collect laughs-the show was pretty funnnnny.

Highlight....the kids were all buzzzzzed up!
Self family photo...this is in Tomorrow Land of the Magic Kingdom. It was probably our least favorite area, but it was still neat to visit and we were glad we spent a bit of time there.

The kids didn't know what to think of Stitch.  Owen got up enough courage to check him out.  The more it interacted with O the cuter I found it to be.  :)
This area of the MK had a lot of fun characters with low lines when we were there so we jumped at the chance to get our photos.  Plus the Barnstormer roller coster is here and the kids were supero excited!

This was the only couple that we met.  I guess Aladdin is more of the main character, but most kids love seeing another princess too! We thought their interaction with these two was really good.  Aladdin did a great job of talking with the kids.  :)  Pretty fun photo.

Ooooh, look at those muscles.  They were strong to climb up the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House.
Splash Mountain...and ALL TIME FAVORITE!
Funny note...the gentleman taking the this photo probably took about 10 photos at different angles. :)
After the Splash Mountain (a water ride if ya don't know) with lots of wet hair, shirts and smiles!

We found the fairies! Think we were excited?

This is Rosette.
Jungle Cruise...a neat rest break touring through the worlds.
Remember the poem, Casey at Bat?
Owen told us he wants to grow up and be a baseball hitter.  :)

And to finish our day a Parade.  We were thrilled to see Mary Poppins in the Parade and others that again show up either infrequently or only in parades. Parades are a must at some point while at the park!

Getting our souvenirs.  Owen loved this pirate set and Katie got a sundress with pink Mickeys.
Fun Fun Fun!
I think we were done with the photos by now.  But everyones got to get a family photo in front of Cinderella's Castle! There are bunches and bunches of people who walk around waiting to take your photo. They will use your camera if you ask, but they also take it with theirs and you get a photo pass-photos to look at later on the Disney photo site.  Honestly, I thought our photos were just as good or better-yay!  :)
iconic.
back at the hotel...clean...getting a snack...comfy and watching what was always on...Old fashioned cartoons.  The kids LOVED that these were always on.  :)  And Justin and I loved to hear them laugh!

And just to show what was in our pockets at all times. This is all we needed for tons of memories to be made. :D
Thank you Lord for this special time as a family.
Thank you also, Grandpa Hime, for seeding the thought in our minds to take the kids to Disney.
It was a super idea.
 Love you two!
Dear Disney, we will be back someday. Love, Us
