Pumpkin Carving

We've carved our pumpkins and sat them on the front porch.  We then put tiny candles inside and all watched them glow with their fun, welcoming faces as night came.  We agreed fall is officially here.  :)  What a treat to have our friend Kristin join us for pumpkin soup, fresh from the orchard apples with homemade carmel sauce, and our pumpkin carvings.  Ms. Christmas, as the kids call her, is a joy to have around.  She graciously brought her camera and photographed our fall fun.  She even posted it on her photography site. Friends

We've had a lot of friends over to play and visit these past few days and each of them are super special to us!

Melissa, We are SO glad you came.  You made our day, week, month!  Please don't stop coming to NC to visit.  :)  Miss you sweet friend, but thank you for spending the day with us just doing life!  It seem that you never moved to OK-we LOVED having you here! 

Oh and thank you for doing the dishes for me too.  :)  You're a favorite!

You girls look good playing Little House on the Prairie.  Mary (Katie), you are pretty in purple.  Baby Carrie, (Evy) your so beautiful with the necklaces and Laura (Catie Beth), your smile makes me smile!  And Owen, your superhero powers will definitely help Pa out with all the farm work.  :D

 And finally Bryce and Owen, you two are becoming great friends.  We loved having Bryce over to play while Katie was at school.  Come again soon friend!

Humm, an announcer! And then each day I will play tee ball one day, then baseball, then basketball.

A few weeks ago at church the kids were standing up on the chairs singing together during worship.  As I looked back Evy and Owen were holding hands and looking SOOOOooooo cute.  Excuse the phone photo, but I just had to post this.  These little moments steal my heart.

Then at a previous workday at church, the two olders were off playing and 'trying' to help as the little worked away!  Hunter and Justin said that it was a bit of choas with all 4 kids outside helping.  But with just the two littles, it was perfect!  I think again it goes to show that Evy and Owen might be meant to be. :D

Visiting

Looky, Looky who came to visit!  We LOVED it.  There is nothing better then having family come to visit.  Seriously!  Thanks Nana, Aunt Brandi and Si for spending the money and time to come and visit us.  Come AGAIN SOON!!

PS--Aunt Brandi...I didn't get a photo with you on our girl time. :(  Next time we will because it was a great time of conversations/fun and I loved it!

Nana and Aunt Brandi got to see Katie's classroom since it was meet the teacher day when they were here.

Life is Full

So....Honestly, I have desired to blog.  But life has been so full lately!  I have posts running through my head-about with the kids lives or things going on with Justin and I, but I haven't gotten anything written...yet.  So please hang in there with me family or friends if you read this. I am going to slowly update the blog with our lives. And I can't wait to share the past 3 months with ya'll.  Happy Reading!

Happy Happy Birthday

We love our now 4 year old! We can't believe that you, Owen, are 4 years old! You are our handsome daper little man. And you are precious to Jesus and us, Owen Bradley Hime! Your daddy, mommy and Katie pray for you so often and you are our favorite little boy in the whole wide world!

A few things about you right now...

1. You are a hard worker. 

2. You love to serve people and help them when they ask. 

3. You are enjoying playing with cars, trains and house with Katie. You love to pretend play! 

4. You like about every food. 

5. You are napping somedays, but can definitely go without if there is an early bedtime.  

6. You are a little boy that can join in any game at the park, you enjoy making new friends and like to introduce yourself.
