I didn't sweep my floor multiple times during the day and this is what has gathered in ONE day on the floor. Gross. Plus since we don't wear shoes in the house it is very annoying to have crumbs on your feet! Agh~! So back to sweeping at least quickly after every meal. :)
This season to will pass and I am sure someday I won't mind or even will miss the crumbs from little fingers! Until then working hard to have grace in both keeping it clean and letting it go so I can spend time with my beautiful kids.

$225.25 at the garage sale

Today Katie and I decided to hit up some local garage sales. Justin took Owen to get some stuff for the yard.

This story details the find Katie and I found!

We started off pursuing a few sales, not much stood out. But it was fun to be out on a sunny day with just us girls. :)

We found one of these for $0.25 and were excited.
We kept driving around scanning the deals, but didn't find much.

Then we decided to try one last sale on our way out of the neighborhood and found one of these-a metal drain on the curb. Katie said I wasn't paying attention...but I WAS.
Next we barely hit the corner with our tire and SLICED the tire pretty much like this :( It went flat immediately.
Our big find? You guessed it....a new tire for our HL. Our garage sale finds that started off well, ended pretty expensive. Justin wasn't to happy about my mistake-me either, but he came to help us and we got it to the tire store. (though two other guys offered to help and then one Hispanic man with his wife and baby just came and started to help even though I told him my husband was coming. I actually thought it was super nice that he actually helped and not just asked if I needed help. :)

I am thankful that we had the finances for a new tire, though it was NOT what I was expecting to spend it on...considering we started our garage sale with a few dollars and a list for some sand toys and play clothes for K and O. Also thankful that we laughed about it later on today-thankful for grace in mistakes.
Final cost for new tire...$225.00-whew! I'll be going around corners way FAR away from the curb from now on. And for you readers....STAY AWAY from metal drains on curbs, you never know when they might slice your lovely tire.

On a good note...we found some sand box toys for free!

Journaling-gray hair and pimples

Yes, I have gray hair....hummmm....there is a lot of it.

And I have a pimple. Oh boy...yuck!

At almost 33 it just seems wrong to have gray hair and a zit. :)

So I am thinking about coloring my hair......I'll tell you my recommendations for color if I do it (And Ms. Aunt Brandi-please don't tell me my hair will fall out if I use color from the store...I promise I would LOVE for you to do it, but alas....that's a long way to drive for a haircut/color, how about May? :)

Recommendation! I have some Tea Tree Oil soap that I love for these pesky pimples, it works great! Really by washing my face with it, it helps to cleanse my face and the pimple is stopped in its tracks. Here is the one I bought from Vitacost, Nature's Plus Tea Tree Oil Exfoliating Soap

Barbie, No thanks-a Katie Story

Katie is extremely taken with Toy Story 3. If buzz is not flying around the house or Jesse riding Bullseye or Woody not playing somewhere in our house something is wrong. The Toy Story characters are always causing mischief in our home with Katie. :)

For a few days now, Katie has named herself Jesse and Owen is Buzz or Woody, Justin is Ken and I am Barbie!
I told Katie I am NOT Barbie. Katie then said, "Okay Barb". What?? I am NOT Barbie or Barb.

Off to be Momma today or Mommy or Mom or Mother, but NOT Barbie!
