Our Laundry Helpers

If you are short and even standing on a stool doesn't help, what could one use to lift the laundry up from the bottom of the washing machine? 

Ah ha!  The most obvious answer is a hook! 

I was pretty proud of our littles for problem solving their problem (how to reach all the way down to the bottom-without falling in :).  The only bummer? The tiny holes in the clothes made from the hook.
Thankfully the tiny holes closed after I rubbed the fabrics a bit.
