And Disney continues...
It really was fun to ride the ferry to the Magic Kingdom. We never had to wait for a ride. It wasn't crowded and we were picked up and dropped off back at The Wilderness Lodge. Sweet!
One of our favorite spots was Belle's Cottage-Enchanted Tales with Belle. It was interactive and fairly new to the MK. Justin and I thought it was really well done! Plus we timed it just right. We only waited about 20 minutes. But from what we read and heard the wait can be up to two hours! I can't imagine waiting that long...but it really was great!
Basically in this cottage there are some items that come to life, like the wardrobe, and then the kids are cast to act out the part of the movie where the Beast meets Belle for the dinner party and they dance.
They had tiny try outs and Owen won the best roar therefore he was The Beast!
ROARRRRRRRRR
Love Katie's eyes this photo...she was cast as silverware in the play, around and around they danced/walked.
Everything was 'alive in the library, it held the kids in rapt attention!
Will you dance with me, Belle?
Thank you Ms. Katie Silverware, here is a bookmark so you can keep reading just like me!
Our strong men!
Meeting the main guy...Mickey Mouse, Mickey Mouse, M I C K E Y M O U S E!
Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty
Katie really wanted to wear a dress to meet the princesses. I had brought another one, but she preferred this one since it was so cheerful.
Katie LOVED meeting the princesses, but by far she was thrilled to meet Rupunzel. :)
Rice Krispies are a Disney treat!
This is Tom Sawyers Island. One can get to the island by a boat which is made to look like the real raft in the book (it takes about 3 minutes to cross the water). This was one of Owen's favorite thing at Disney-this bridge. He loved this bridge that was held up by empty barrels. It definitely moved up and down when he walked across it. He was determined to make us fall by jumping right behind us!
No one is getting by this guard!
The first night we waited around for the Electric parade that is all lights. It had rained hard for a good 20 minutes right before it was to start, we waited it out in the Presidents hall which was a neat show...but after the water was cleared off, with only a 20 minute delay, down the lane it came. It was pretty short, but worth the wait! Plus, in the parades we got to see other characters that we didn't find throughout our day. Score!
Waiting is sometimes hard work.
Tinkerbell!
