is Paul rejoicing in their stability of faith because of their good discipline (Col 2:5)?
Their discipline of knowing (Col 2:2-4) that they have attained all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
If so I NEED to preach the gospel to myself all the more...I need a steadfast faith in Christ alone.

Have you guys read Gospel Primer by Milton Vincent? It is so great to remind me of the importance of preaching the Gospel to myself each day!
