What a treat!

Nana Came!!! What a huge treat. :) We were blessed to have Nana come and visit us this past week. We did a lot considering the kids were with colds and not 100%.
It was so nice to have a break to make dinner while Nana played with the kids...or to run an errand by myself. We had great conversations and I loved the adult time. :) Plus, the kids never missed me and that was nice to know they were being loved on by Nana. So thanks Nana for coming. (Bring Papa next time and fancy Drew!) We can't wait to see you again. We LOVE you.

Nana and Katie painted Nana and Papa an art piece to put up in their home. Yes it got a bit messy and Katie LOVED it. She loves painting her hands and not using the brushes. Then when Nana painted her hand...Katie thought it was super.
masterpiece!
Messy hands, purple noses and FUN

We went out to breakfast at the Flying Biscuit. Yum!
Owen was cheering for Nana and cheering so he could get down and play. :) A one year old can only last so long at the table!
Hum....what's over there...
Nana tried to take a family photo for us. I think the adults look good! Doesn't Justin look great in his new glasses?
We played hide and seek. (If you look at this photo enlarged, you can see Katie's eyes peeking under Nana's hand. It was CUTE!)
But the best spot Nana and Katie hid was under the tarp on the back porch. I truly would not have found them...but Katie's cough gave them away. :)
We made some Monster cookies!
And lastly, Nana, Katie, and Owen walked to Starbucks. Nana got a delicious coffee and Katie of course (sharing a little bit with Owen) got a juice box. She SO wanted to go to Starbucks with Nana. Last time we didn't get to, so before she came she told me she wanted to go there. It was a sweet thing. Then Nana gave Katie a few dollars for her next visit. I am sure we will spend her money VERY SOON. :)
Love you Nana Green Joyy!
And Nana, we don't tell you enough-you are beautiful! May your heart continue to push into truth and joy. :)

PS you can tell in this photo that Katie is wearing her "Nana" outfit--That consists of a wind suit. Thanks Aunt Brandi (and Grandpa) for the outfit! And for Owen's Jayhawk stuff!

Justin reminds me of Nick in his corduroy jacket and glasses! Too funny!

Looks like such a sweet visit!
