Thankful

We have been trying.  Oh we have been trying to do mornings better at our house.  It. Has. Been. Hard.  It's been difficult for the past 4.5 years.  BUT there are moments of break through.  Moments of joyful mornings!  Owen shows us one in his joyful photo!

For a few months now we have been trying to help Owen do a better job in the mornings.  He wakes up awfully early and he is cranky.  But not much anymore!  Praise the Lord!  He now wakes up, goes potty, takes a drink and then goes back and read his books for a few minutes until we have breakfast done.  Doesn't he look great?

Now Katie and Owen both read in the mornings-wahoo!  (disclaimer, there are still plenty of mornings that are challenging...lest you think we have arrived at perfect parenting)
