Nana Came!

Nana came to visit!  We were so thankful to have family come to our home.  We had a great time walking, eating yummy foods, playing, watching KU play, shopping and talking.  Nana also watched the kids while we had a date and a few meetings-super helpful and a huge blessing!
We are always thankful when any of our family comes to visit-so please come out to see us!
Nana, it was SO nice to see you.  Please come back soon!
We did a lot of walking.  Nana is great to take the kids out to see the trails and I can either go and enjoy the company or stay at home and get a few things done!  I did both this time.
One day we went to Joyner Park in WF and though it was windy it was almost 75 degrees and beautiful.  ahhhhh.  :)
Liking those socks. :)  I feel like this could have been a photo of Justin as a kiddo in KS.  Love the simplistic feel of a barn, fields and a kid on a mission.

Sweet photos
Yep....it was windy!
We took Nana to her first greek restaurant and it was a hit!  Our family loves greek food and I think Nana saw it since kids alone ate three pitas each and almost an entire bowl of hummus!  The owner even gave us a second free bowl of hummus-super nice!!  If you are ever in the mood for greek and live in the area, try out N. Neomonde on Strickland.   Yummo!
Owen really took to Nana this time and when he was disagreeing with us he ran to Nana to seek comfort.  If you look closely there are some big tears on his cheeks.
I think it worked!
 Lots and Lots of playing
Katie got some special girl time too.  She got her toes painted with cute flowers. What a treat!
Finally it was fun to share a KU basketball game with family from Lawrence!  Rock Chalk KU!
Thanks Nana for flying out here!  We can't wait to see you again!
...And if anyone else wants to come, come on-we'd love it!!
