But as the Lord prompted me I prayed for Justin all day long. I prayed that he would somehow be encouraged. I have prayed this a lot, trusting that He will answer this yes, when it is best for Justin...
And the Lord is always faithful, not always answering how I feel He should, but always answering how He KNOWS best. I trust that, I really do.
And on Friday, the Lord was kind. When I chatted with Justin after work asking how his day was, he response- "I am encouraged!".
God was gracious and faithful to answer my prayer! Me, who was struggling with things at home and knew Justin had been struggling with work the past week-gave my husband encouragement! I am so grateful!
And it wasn't in the way I had imagined...not at all imagined! But He listened to my plea for my husband. Thankful.
Ultimately it showed me that I need to be in prayer even more for my Love.
Colossians 1:9-12
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
