He's almost big enough and a "Dear Owen" too.

Owen is just about ready to turn over a leaf and use the Bumbo seat. We tried it for dinner the other night, but he's not quite there. He enjoyed it for about 5 minutes, then his little head started to bobble and he complained. I would too if I was wobbling around. But we can't wait for this to be a way for him to enjoy our company on the counter!

And yes, if you are wondering this is how to eat dinner as a family, eat right when your husband comes home from work at 6:30 pm, just seconds before the kids should go down for bed at 7:00pm...at the island with everything in reach of the kids!

 

 

 

Dear Owen,
You are almost 4 months old in this photo and growing up so quickly. You're about 15 lbs and for sure into a new set of clothing--3 to 6 months. You are talking up a storm, sleeping pretty well, eating every chance you get and being loved on by us all, all the time. You enjoy your crib for sleeping and the car seat and you are NOT friends. Bath time is one of your favorite throughout the day and another favorite is standing up or trying to work your abs with sit ups. You are incredibly strong in all areas (maybe like a tiny superman) and we look forward to the time, which I know will be soon, when you are moving all over the place. You've had a lot of nicknames like Spike-your hair is always sticking up, quicks-because you were born so quickly, superman-because you are strong, sugar dot-because you are my little boy, O-shortened from Owen and many others. Nothing has stuck, but I am sure one will soon.
